A famous quote says: “well-behaved women seldom make history.”
This is true in many cases because usually, one has to break some rules to achieve something spectacular. This does not, of course, mean doing something criminal or illegal, most powerful women are usually just very bold, and they are not afraid to stand for what they believe in.
So here are the 15 things that make these powerful women different from other women:
1. They make maximizing enjoyment a top priority in their life
They know that they will only live once, so they do not plan to waste it. Those alpha women will not spend time on complaining and feeling sorry for themselves. They will take charge and change their life when they do not feel happy about it.
These strong women know, what makes them happy in life and it is not being stuck at a lousy job or being in an unhealthy relationship. Alpha women are not afraid to make big changes to enjoy life more.
2. They are open and assertive
They are confident and know their worth. For example, at a social gathering, they are usually the first ones introducing themselves. Also, they are not afraid to ask for a raise from their boss, if they think they are worth it. They respect themselves enough not to let anyone else unfairly treat them.
3. They are confident
No one is perfect, but alpha women love themselves just the way they are. And if they do not like something, they change it about themselves. Their confident attitude can be seen from a mile away.
4. They do not need a man
Of course, they are happy in a relationship, when the right guy comes along. But they have no problem being by themselves as well. When something goes wrong, they look at it as a learning experience. Alpha women do not waste their time on “coulda woulda shoulda-s” because they know that they cannot change the past, so it is no point to focus on it. Powerful women have stringent rules and boundaries in their life. They like to be organized and have a structure. When someone is overstepping their boundaries, they will find a polite way to let them know that it is not okay. Powerful women will always stand up for themselves.

They do not hold on to relationships or friendships, that does not work. When the relationships are more trouble and work, than happiness, they just let it go and move on. Alpha women trust the universe and know that everything happens for a reason and go exactly how it is supposed to.

Alpha women are not willing to sacrifice themselves for a long distance relationship. They know that they deserve more, so just calling and texting does not cut it for them. They need a partner, who will hold them tightly and kiss them goodnight every evening. When the other person is not willing to put in that effort, the relationship will not work.

Powerful women know that it is all about connections and networking, so even if they are tired after a work day, they will put on a nice dress and go to a cocktail party. They are very open-minded and optimistic about new ideas and challenges.

They try to eat a healthy diet, workout and have enough sleep to keep them energized and going. They know that they cannot make sacrifices at the cost of their well-being. They focus on their body and mind and make this their priority.

They do not re-live negative experiences and never try to portray themselves as the victims. They are willing to take responsibility and apologize when they have done something wrong. They do not want others pity because they are strong and independent women.

Alpha women will grab every chance they get and go with every exciting opportunity. They will always finish what they started and never let anyone down. Sometimes it feels like alpha women have more hours in a day than regular people.
