3 Most ‘Clingy’ Girlfriends, Based on Their Zodiac Signs

Having a girlfriend is great, but it’s always best to be prepared for the downsides of having one.

Specific zodiac signs tend to be clingier than others, and if you’re looking for someone easy going, these gals probably aren’t the best ones to date.

They will keep you on your toes for sure, but they can also be hard work, so you should know what you’re getting yourself into.

Here are the three clingiest girls in relationships:

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

A Cancer girl is a perfect partner in many ways. If you’re looking for love and understanding, you do not need to look further than a Cancer gal.

She’s nurturing and sweet; however, her clinginess maybe just a little off-putting. They love physical attention, so expect that they will want to be around you a lot, and they’ll often be into PDA.

They will crave you touching them, from holding hands to stroking their hair and reassuring them with kisses every few minutes. When you’re apart, they will struggle with the distance, continually reaching out via social media, text messages and Skype calls.

A Cancer girl’s heart isn’t made for stressful situations, and jealousy is set deep in her bones. Expect to tread carefully if you date a Cancer girl, but also know that you will never be more loved.

If you’re an Aries, the chances are you are too impatient to cope with a Cancer girl’s insistence and constant need for contact.

Libras will also have trouble dating Cancer girls because a Libra’s instinct is to try and please everyone. Cancers will rarely be satisfied with the level of attention they receive, so a Libra will never feel fulfilled with them.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

An Aquarius is a romantic at heart, and they’re not afraid to show it. While they never let their sweetness slip, over time, it can become a little too intense.

They love tradition and will be upset if you forget their little quirks and milestones – very much like Amy in Gone Girl, and we all know how that ended – so it can be challenging to keep up with an Aquarius’ young, wild heart.

They also have addictive personalities, which means their clinginess can increase if they become obsessed with you. They always strive for truthfulness, so they’re sincere and frank, even if you’re only just starting out as a couple.

Those who will struggle most to date an Aquarius are Scorpios and Taurus. While a Taurus is reliable and consistent, they like to be independent, which displeases any clingy woman.

Scorpios tend to like keeping to themselves, and an Aquarius can’t cope with being left out of the loop, so this is another tricky match to make work.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

While many of the zodiac signs crave being left to their own devices, a Libra can’t function alone. They don’t like the idea that they’re taking part in an activity which could be done with someone else.

Everything is a double act to them, even in activities people would often perform alone. When they get attached to someone, their need for constant contact can be unnerving. You will have to learn to fit with their routines so that they don’t become distressed. If they feel abandoned, their clinginess will only get worse.

Though a Cancer is similar to a Libra in many ways, it’s possible this similarity is what makes them incompatible. They would be a mess of emotions in a relationship together, so a union of the two is ill-advised.

On the other hand, a Capricorn is practical and in control of their emotions, and so they would find a Libra’s emotional scale too chaotic to survive a relationship with them.
