People Who Swear A Lot Are Exceptionally Honest, Psychologists Explain

When you were still a child, adults always told you that you should not be friends with those who curse and swear a lot. There are a lot of adults who think that those who swear are culturally inappropriate and they have foul mouths, but it seems that those who are considered to be potty mouths are known as smart people.

Some people say that those who swear are not too smart because they do not have the vocabulary to express themselves but is this truly the case? It seems that those who use words that are not supposed to be used because they are considered to be “swear words” are people who know how to express themselves. This means that they have the presence of mind to use the expression for the right occasion or situation that they are going through.

According to research, those who use swear words may be people who are being completely honest about their feelings. They do not want to be deceptive especially if they just want to express what they are currently feeling.

Some people are charged with criminal crimes that act differently depending on their situation. Those who are innocent may swear more because they do not understand why they are in the situation that they are in. The guilty ones may be unnaturally quiet or polite. Of course, this cannot be said for all people.

When you think about all of the things that are mentioned above, it seems that swearing is not as bad as people make it out to be. The next time that someone tells you off for saying a bad word, you have two options: ignore the person or just explain what you have read here.
