This Amazing Project Shows Why Those Who Overcome Cancer Are Not Survivors

Cancer Grad is a unique initiative that uses humor to create awareness about breast cancer. The idea was conceived when two women, both with a great sense of humor and a cancer diagnosis came together to redefine cancer experience from a war to ‘education’. They strongly believed that our words shape our perception; when looked upon as an educating experience, rather than a tiring and gruesome journey, the path may seem less dreadful.

Aniela McGuinness and Nora McMahon are both Cancer graduates who unleashed this revolutionary project with an agenda to empower those with the disease. It serves as a support group for anyone who is experiencing cancer, directly or indirectly.

Sharing facts, health tips, treatment updates, cheat sheets and love, this project serves as a forum for creating awareness amongst survivors and their families. This is a worldwide movement of Cancer Students, Cancer Graduates and Cheerleaders who find new ways to inspire one another by sharing their personal experiences and lessons learnt.

The idea to look at a life-altering disease in a new light of positivity is beautifully inspiring. It is not limited to sharing experiences and giving hope, it also gives cancer graduates and students the strength and confidence to own and love their new bodies.

This initiative gives opportunity for pain to be painted in the light of positivity, the scars to be loved and for intangible yet unparalleled growth.
