A Message For The Girl Who Completely Destroyed Him

So you’re the girl who broke his heart, I just thought I should say hi.

Well not really hi, more like f*ck you.

How could you? You broke up with him in the worst way possible. You didn’t even bother to end it properly, just so you could come back in and out of his life when you felt like it.

I’m not sure that you have a heart or any compassion, if you did you wouldn’t have behaved that way.

You went out dating and having fun, and that’s fine but did you have to rub his face in it? He wouldn’t even leave the house and your Instagram feed was full of you with a multitude of men. You broke him and went off leaving others to pick up the pieces of his broken heart.

But do you know what? That would have been fine, he would’ve moved on after a while. He’d have got out of the house and learnt to be happy again. You just kept coming back though, you wanted to be ‘friends’. Every time you came back, you gave him a glimmer of hope that it hadn’t ended, that you would still be together. You’d swoop back in, do couple-y things (don’t even get me started on why you had to keep sleeping with him) and then you’d disappear again without a trace until the next time you got bored.

You could have set him free but you were too selfish. Every time he was almost okay, there you were again to break his heart all over again. Could you sense that you weren’t the center of his world anymore? Is that why you kept doing it? It’s cold and selfish and I wouldn’t expect any less from you.

I know we are going to see each other at some point. I’ll be unfailingly polite to you and kill you with kindness, but just know this; I can’t stand you.

You know I exist. I know you check my Instagram. I know you have others check my Instagram. Why bother? He’s moved on and so should you.

In other circumstances, I think I would have liked you and we would have been friends but I wouldn’t have known how cruel and selfish you could be. You took the most wonderful guy and turned him into a wreck.

He’s a great guy, the type of guy you and your friends say ‘doesn’t exist anymore’, the guy that a million other girls would love to date. How could you treat him like that? How could you let him go?

Don’t get me wrong, without you leaving there wouldn’t have been room for me but you treated him in the worst way possible.

One day you’ll realize what you’ve done, but don’t worry it’ll be too late for you to do anything about it. He’s moved on now.

Regards,

Me.
