This Photographer Recreated Pictures from 40 Years Ago and The Results Are Heartwarming!

In the late 70’s and 80’s, Chris Porsz spent time walking around the city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire (Great Britain), taking photographs of punks and police, siblings, and sweethearts, traders, and teenagers. More than 3 decades later, Chris recreated a handful of his favorites and spent the last 7 years tracking down every person in his photographs which you can find in his book, Reunions.

“This book has been nearly 40 years in the making and I believe the project is totally unique. I don’t think anyone else has tracked down so many strangers and recreated photos in this way before,” said Chris.
