‘Stashing’ Is Hottest New Dating Trend That Will Most Likely Make You Feel Like Sh*t

You are with someone whom you think is amazing.

You have been seeing this person for months, and every time you are with the person, you feel like you are in an entirely different world. You are having fun, and you spend a lot of your time together.

Over the past few weeks, you have noticed that there is something different about your relationship.

The person has already met a lot of individuals who are important to you like your family members and your friends, but you have not met anyone from this person’s group of people.

You have never met any of the family members or any of his buddies. You always wonder why in his social media sites, you are not mentioned at all. They will post a picture of something that you have given but he will never be there, or your face will never make his social media accounts.

You have heard him speaking on the phone, but you are not mentioned at all. If this is the case, you already know that you are being stashed.

What is Stashing?

This is a dating trend wherein you are being hidden from the rest of the person’s life even if you are dating each other. This happens to a lot of individuals in the world of dating, but there was never a name for it before.

Everything about the partner who is being stashed is hidden from the people that the individual knows. This is because the person does not want to show people who he is dating. He does not want to show you to the world because you are being stashed. In the process, he can make you feel great when you are together, but when you think about the things that he is doing to you, you realize that he is inconsiderate.

You are with each other, and you know that you are committed to dating him, but he is hiding you away from everyone else. You cannot help but wonder what his current reason is. Usually, a stasher does this so that he can deny that you are going out. This means that he is free to date other people in the process.

If you would this up, you will be informed that you are exaggerating your actions and there is nothing to worry about. He would tell you that he does not see the need to document your relationship online. He would inform you that there is nothing wrong with what he is doing.

It may be okay in the beginning but the more that you are stashed, the more that you will begin to feel sorry for the things that are happening to you.

Over time, you will feel that the stasher is ashamed to be seen with you. You begin to wonder if you are not attractive enough or kind enough to be worthy of the person. It will make you feel like you are not worth anything to the individual even if he tries to tell you otherwise.

To get out of stashing, you have two options:

1. Confront the stasher about it, and he may explain his reasons. If you think that it is valid, but you still do not like being stashed, tell him that you would like to be seen. If he genuinely likes or loves you, he will do it.

2. If the stasher does not do anything, leave while you still can.

Remember that you do not deserve this type of treatment from anyone. Do not let yourself be hidden away.
