Why You’ll Regret Losing The Woman Who Waited For You To Grow Up

Women can put up with quite a bit in a relationship if they think the man is worth it, so when they finally do decide to walk away, you know they’re not coming back.

Most people have fallen into the trap of being someone who treats them badly in the hope that if they stick around long enough that person will grow up, realize what they have and finally become the partner they always wanted.

This rarely happens and even though it might not seem it, even the most patient woman has her breaking point.

It could be after 200-second chances or it could be 2000, but eventually, they will put their own happiness and self-preservation ahead of their partner and decide to move on.

The bad news for the guy? If he ever does get around to changing his life, there is zero chance of convincing his former lover to try again.

Just like the old saying, “you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone,” this type of relationship throws up more regrets for the guy than the person who wasted her time and love on them.

Unlike them, the other person is satisfied in knowing that they did everything to make the relationship work and has no doubt that not being with that person is the best thing for them.

Unfortunately, this can’t be said for the person who lost them through their own bad behavior.

The feeling that things were left unfinished between them, can mean they hold onto the hope of reconciliation long after the other person has moved on and forgotten them.

They may also be consumed with the regret that they didn’t believe their partner when they said they wouldn’t always be around and rely instead on their strength of feeling to keep them coming back even after they behaved badly.

The ghost of how they treated their former flame could even end up haunting their new relationships.

While they may have grown-up and reformed their character, there will always be the nagging doubt that a new partner doesn’t love them in the same way.

The person in the previous relationship saw them at their worst, their lowest, their most selfish and their least attractive and still loved them in spite of it.

There’s no guarantee their new flame will be so forgiving of their faults or even stick around when the going gets tough.

For a man, this thought is a powerful emotion and can make them doubt their new relationship and see their former love through rose-tinted glasses.

They want to be with that person who loves them in spite of their fault and bad behavior and they’ll regret not realizing that sooner.
