Although many relate yoga with spirituality and mental abilities, many postures of yoga can immensely help you in decreasing your weight. It is one of the highly effective ways of losing weight and getting in shape.

These are a few Yoga postures that will help you losing weight and curb your anxiety levels. At first, hold to each posture for 15-20 minutes and gradually make them longer.

Triangle (Trikonasana)

The triangle Trikonasana posture will be best for your abs muscle. The bent posture will help in improving your digestion and will heavily reduce belly stored belly fat. Warrior II (Virabhadrasana B)

Virabhadrasana C (Warrior III)

A Downward Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)

A Half Boat Posture (Ardha Navasana)

Shoulder Stand (Sarvangasana)

This particular yoga position deals with multiple organs and disease of the body. It helps in balancing the thyroid level, increases your metabolism, enhances your respiratory system and strengthens your neck., legs abs and almost all the upper body. When you thyroid balances and metabolism increases this would make you drop your body weight.

Chair Pose (Utkatasana) 

This yoga posture will mainly affect on your thighs and stomach. This asana is effective in weight loss and toning your overall body.

You need to keep your arms straight and feet together. Tuck your haunches bend down as if you are a chair.  This position will strengthen your backbone and knees coupled with thighs. It will make your abs firm and will eventually make you lose a hefty amount of weight. make sure that you do this for at least 30 seconds.

Warrior I (Virabhadrasana A)

Lord of the Dance Pose (Natarajasana)

Nataranjasana or the lord of dance pose is one of the beginner asanas of yoga. It is highly recommended for weight loss and in increasing richness to your muscles.

To do this, Hold your left ankle with the left hand and move your weight at front; to balance put your right hand on your right knee. when you go forward straight your back thurst outward with left foot.  Gently lift your left arm forward when you get relaxed in this posture.

Crow Pose (Bakasana)

Bakasana is the modern yoga posture for becoming fit and losing your weight. This pose will gravely burn your fate and strengthen your arms.

Bend yourself as if you are doing squat while laying your hands on the ground with widened knees. you must stand on your toes and point your knees on the corner of your arms. Ultimately you need to keep the pose with straight arms.

You must practice this numerous times a day for 30 and more seconds. This is hard but trust us it will help you lose your weight with a great pace.
